Kango Construction ("we," "us," or "our") operates a cloud-based construction management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and role.
Project Data: Data you enter into the platform, including budgets, bid packages, schedules, daily reports, documents, photos, change orders, vendor invoices, and customer billing information.
Usage & Analytics Data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.
Device & Browser Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers collected automatically when you access the platform.
2. Third-Party Integrations
Our platform integrates with the following third-party services. When you enable an integration, certain data is shared with that provider:
- Google OAuth: Used for authentication. We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- DocuSign: Used for electronic signatures. Document data and signer information are shared to facilitate e-signature workflows.
- DocuSeal: Used as an alternative e-signature provider. Document data and signer information are shared for signature processing.
- QuickBooks: Used for accounting synchronization. Financial data including vendors, customers, invoices, and payments are shared for bookkeeping.
- Google Calendar: Used for schedule synchronization. Calendar event details are shared when you enable calendar sync.
- Gmail: Used for email delivery and communication features. Email content is shared when you send messages through the platform.
Each integration is optional and activated at your discretion. Please review each provider's privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Providing and operating the construction management platform

4. Data Storage & Security
Our platform is hosted on Vercel and our database is hosted on Neon PostgreSQL. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security). We implement access controls to restrict data access to authorized personnel only.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication and to maintain your login state. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Third-Party Services
In addition to the integrations listed above, we use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Resend: For transactional email delivery
- Sentry: For error monitoring and performance tracking
- Supabase: For authentication services
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and associated data
